Link your webshop, CRM or other application with RouteLogic.
If you want to process many orders in a route every day, RouteLogic's API is the solution. With the API, you link your application to RouteLogic and your orders are immediately visible. As well as reading orders once, the API also allows you to change orders so that you always include the correct data in your route. There are a number of possibilities.
Zapier
You can use our do-it-yourself link: Zapier.
This allows you to easily create your own link to RouteLogic with many well-known platforms such as Shopify, Shopware, Lightspeed, etc.
You can read more about a link via Zapier here.
Your own API connection
You can easily create an API connection that handles communication between your package and RouteLogic. You can find the API documentation here.
Some of the things we have taken care of for you in our API:
Notification Templates available: You can retrieve the ids and names for notification templates through the API. This allows you to already give the choice in your own software which notification template should be used to notify your customer.
QR/barcode management: You can easily add QR codes or Barcodes to an order. This makes it possible to scan in and scan out orders on delivery with the driver app. You can implement code scanning in several ways.
Retrieve Products and Tasks Separately: products can be accessed separately from tasks. This makes it easy to update product information without affecting related tasks.
Addition of Webhooks: Webhooks are available in the API. This allows you to receive real-time notifications when certain events occur, which is useful for automating processes and integrations.
Resending Webhooks with no 200 status: If a webhook is not successfully delivered (e.g., due to server downtime at the recipient), you can use the API to retry sending it until a successful response is received.
Limitation of Synchronization via Webhooks: To avoid overloading, synchronization is expected via webhooks. There is a limit on the number of requests per minute when retrieving tasks to manage load on servers and maintain stability.
Special needs & business logic
There are also conceivable situations when you want to incorporate certain business logic into the task you provide. No problem, with RouteLogic's API you determine that yourself. Does your customer order several goods at one address or a very heavy package? Then you need more loading and unloading time than a simple order. Enter your custom loading and unloading time with this order and RouteLogic automatically takes into account a longer loading and unloading time in your route calculation.
There are more specific situations in which this is useful, which is why we are happy to think along with you and share our knowledge and experience with you!
Create your own API connection or outsource it?
You can ask your own developer to make the link with RouteLogic. This will not take much time.
If necessary, RouteLogic can also help you with this. Through our network, we have a number of good developers available who have frequently created links with RouteLogic. We would be happy to help you, feel free to contact us for help in setting up your link.
Where can I find the API key?
In your account you can click on the three dots at the bottom left next to your email, by clicking on synchronization you will find the key and API capabilities. Please note that you do need an active account and a pro plus subscription for an API link.
